An ape as large as Kong could never be as quick or agile as the star of the 1933 film classic. In this scene, Kong is approximately five times the size of a typical gorilla. This would result in a 25-fold increase in the cross-sectional area of his bones, but a 125-fold increase in body mass. The resulting stress would be too much for Kong's bones to handle.
